1. Who we are

This website, koelfoods.com, is run by Koel Dehydrates (“we”, “us”), a food dehydration unit in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Our contact details are at the end of this page.

2. What this website collects

• Nothing you type into the enquiry form is stored on this website. The form puts your message together and opens WhatsApp or your email app. Nothing reaches us until you press send there.
• We don't use advertising trackers or analytics tools, and we don't set cookies of our own.
• The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) and may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.

3. Information you send us

When you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive what you choose to share. That is usually your name, company, phone number, email address and details of the product or job you have in mind.

4. How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes, samples and trial batches.
• To carry out, deliver and follow up on work you ask us to do.
• To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as tax and food-safety records.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.

5. Your product and business details

Recipes, formulations, specifications, artwork and other business information you share with us are treated as confidential. We use them only to quote for and carry out your work, and we're happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before you share them.

6. Who we share it with

Only when needed: with the services we use to communicate and operate (for example email providers, and WhatsApp, which is run by Meta under its own privacy policy), with logistics partners delivering your order, or where the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it.

8. Keeping it safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

9. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to give you access to, correct, update or erase your personal data, and you can withdraw consent you have given. Write to sales@koelfoods.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
